I have two discs in my back, which cause a lot of pain. I had test done to prove that they were my problem. I have terrible headaches and back pain from this disc. I also have anxiety and depression. All of this has caused my to not be able to work. Dr. Russell told me he could do a bone fusion but I only had a 50-50 chance it would work and if it didn't I would have more pain. I have had a bone fusion on my left foot and it didn't work and I know how much more pain I have with it and do not want to take the chance. Dr. Russell also told me that they are doing an implant in the lower back and they are trying to get it approved for the upper back where my is. They should have it approved in about a year and he said if I could at all wait he knew this would help with my pain and I could be helped 100%. Now here's the problem: I needed Dr. Russell to fill out some papers for my insurance company and his nurse told me he refused to put me on disability leave because I could work. Where as my Medical Doctor who has been treating me for pain for over 4 years says that no I can not work with the pain I have. I have to lay down about 3-4 times a day to calm my headaches and have to take pain pills and muscle relaxants and anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications along with high blood pressure pills and Celebrex for my arthritis. All I needed Dr. Russell to do was fill out papers showing the dates of my appointments and they refused to do this. They will not work with me. Also, my disability insurance has paid for medical records from them over a month ago and they said today they had called to see why they had not sent them the copies of my medical records and they have not returned their call. The reason given they didn't want to fill out my paperwork for being off work was: BECAUSE IF I LOST MY JOB FROM NOT WORKING I WOULD NOT HAVE INSURANCE WHEN I NEEDED THE OPERATION. Now, tell me that is not a money hungry doctor that doesn't care if you are in terrible pain or not. And by the way I have insurance because I am paying for my Cobra insurance and will have it for over 18 months and if I do go on disability I will have it for 29 months. So, what difference should it be to this doctor whether I have a job and insurance unless all he cares about in money and not my health?I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO HAVE A DOG OR CAT WORKED ON LET ALONG A HUMAN BEING. WARNING: DO NOT USE.........
