I went to see Dr. Silich in the summer of 2006 in reference to jawline lipo and lower eye work. I had never had a cosmetic surgery procedure but had seen a facelift he had done on a coworker and thought she looking amazing.   I was 42 at the time, 120 lbs, fair skin, and had always had a non discernable chin/neck line. Over the past couple of years I noticed my lower eyes were always puffy causing me to look tired all the time.  I live in NJ and traveled into NY to see Dr. Silich.  He has a great bedside manner, was knowledgeable, and didnt push me to do anything I wasn't interested in doing.  His office manager, Katie, showed me an album of photos and suggested I think about a date and call her to arrange it.  I didnt actually end up getting surgery until March of 2007 and I only chose to do the jawline, as I could not take more time off from work.  I was very concerned people would be able to 'tell' I had work done.  There was nothing further from the truth.  I had lipo of the jaw line and could not be happier.  Frankly, I wish I had done it 10  years ago!  The only thing people continually said was I looked like I had 'lost weight' which was exactly what the Dr. said would happen. Within 5 months when I would see someone I hadnt seen for a time they said 'you look GREAT' but couldnt point their finger at why.  Dr. Silich prepared me for what to expect, good and bad, and provided me with all the information and answers I needed.  I have returned to him a couple of times for Botox and he's just a great doctor and, in my opinion, looking to give you the most natural results.  I would definetly recommend him.  He listens, gives you feedback, spends whatever time necessary to explain things.  Very down to earth and personable and obviously a skilled and experienced surgeon.
