I have been a patient of Dr. Henegar's for almost 2 years. He performed two dental procedures on my tooth and I still developed an infection in that tooth and it infected a second tooth. I developed two abscesses and called Dr. Henegar for an emergency appointment on Sunday. I was unable to get an appointment until Monday. At my appointment I was told nothing could be done until after Thursday and the pain wouldn't go away for 24 to 48 hours. The pain did not go away. I called Friday and his office was closed. I was unable to return to work Sunday. I work for a 24 hour call center. I talk on the phone for 8 hours a day wearing a headset and was unable to perform my work duties for four days. I sent Dr. Henegar my FMLA forms for the four days of absence and was told he could only approve 24 hours; when it took me 24 hours to get him to do nothing in the first place. Even though he saw for himself how much pain I was in on Monday. I have tried speaking to him about my FMLA papers and he will not return my call, and his office will not give me his license number |
