Low communication skills, doctor does not listen, hence patient is not properly looked after. Doctor does not keep up with new medical treatments or information and treats patients as interruptions in his day. Does not think out of the box. If retirement is his option, he should take certainly entertain this. His best skills are as a prescriber of medication......for what he thinks you should take, not what you've described in detail for him. He does not cross-reference his prescriptions to my liking, which is dangerous at the very least for his patients. In a small town where there is a doctor shortage, travelling to another center is a way better option than speaking to or trying to speak to him. Takes forever to be referred to a specialist by this doctor, wait, wait, wait.... Patients do better to find someone who actually cares and wants to work and not make you feel like your bothering him....oh my. Office staff could use a courtesy course. His best skills are those of disregard and lack of follow-through. |
