I went to Dr. Hall for an emergency root canal. I was already in pain. When the novacaine began wearing off I told the Dr. He proceeded to hit the affected tooth with a metal dental tool asking 'does this hurt?' He proceeded to get another syringe of novacaine jam it into the roof of my mouth and ask, 'can you feel this?' Which of course I could. When the second shot began wearing off I again informed the Dr. He said,' I've already given you enough novacain and we are almost done. He continued working and I began to grab the chair trying to get through the pain. Then he put a large gobb of the impression putty in my mouth and toldme to bite down on it. The putty began to set and he looked over and said, ' you are not biting down.' I was even though this was painful due to lack novacaine. He then proceeded to forcefully pull push and brutally man handle my lower jaw while holding down my head. He pushed his hand into my mouth and held my chin to gain a hold and pulled very hard to force my jaw to where he wanted it. I was in blinding pain and began bringing my arms up to try to force him away from me. He let go at that point and said thats your corect bite and left the room. His dental assistant in the other room asked him 'what was wrong with him!' She said 'you can't man handle patients that way!' He came back in several minutes later and asked if I was okay. I was speechless and on the point of tears and trying to keep myself together. I felt assaulted, brutalized and victimized by his cruel and unprofessinal assault on me. Even his own office staff commented on his treatment of me. Don't Let this happen to anyone else. March 6, 08 |
