Dr. O'Leary, while very professional in manner, is quite impatient when questioning one regarding a medical complaint. He tends to stand in the office with his hand on the doorknob, which makes one feel he is anxious to leave - which he does, as quickly as possible. He orders appropriate tests but does not take the time to discuss the results and/or further treatment of one's medical condition. I have twice been left standing with my mouth open, about to ask him for a referral to a specialist, when he has walked out of the examination room. I understand short appointments due to the shortage of doctors, but to be treated with such disdain is unacceptable. |
