Comments for Dr. Emily Baker
I was suffering from severe preeclampsia and delivered my baby 6 weeks early. This doctor actually thought it was in my 'best interest' to receive a rubella vaccine on my day of discharge. It almost killed me. I later learned (after reading the drug manufacturer's warnings, precautions, and contraindications) - I should never have received it. While it may be admininstered to a mild to moderately ill patient, it definitely should not be administered to someone who had toxins raging through her body (effecting all systems). Not to mention the fact that I was never warned that the virus can be transmitted to my newborn through breastmilk, there was a small chance of catching a blood-born virus through the vaccine itself, and it is not advisable to get pregnant within 3 months. None of this was shared with me. I subsequently felt funny within 1-2 hours after the vaccine, had to get rushed back (to another hospital closer to home) with blood pressure of 182/128 and suffered a severe relapse with my preeclampsia. I am now suffering from nerve deafness in my ears (adverse reaction to the vaccine). When I went to obtain the vaccine information from the hospital in order to file a report with VAERS and a possibly Injury Compensation Claim - the moron forgot to write anything down! Not only can she NOT READ, but she cannot WRITE either!
