Physician never directly available to patients or family members during working hours. Staff refers calls to his PA, he never returns calls, and like a cockroach scurrying in the night, he makes rounds at 11pm, services as the attending MD for 2 hospitals and has his own full time practice. If an MD accepts the responsibility of primary physician to critically ill patients in SCIU, he should step up and be a man and answer the DIFFICULT questions regarding life and death. Families want answers when there loved ones are critically, but you'll never get them from him and it's just a guess hear, but I am relatively certain through a painful first experience that HE DOESN'T KNOW THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS!! ... As an INTERNIST one would think he would have some knowledge regarding nutrition, digestive organs, caloric amounts required after critical surgery.. don't count on it, expect your critically ill loved one to be fed when he 'gits round to it! What responsible person(never mind that he masquerades as an MD) begins feed on a patient in intensive care on DAY 12. I'm sure he was home stuffing his ugly face. Weight loss is ALWAYS expected when people are seriously ill... that's a no brainer and to maintain health and healing (if that pt. is unable to swallow) then IV feedings of tremendous caloric value can be infused via the SUBCLAVIAN vein(it's s tough one, far less fragile that peripheral veins of the hand and arms). Only an irresponsible sadist would withhold food in a patient that requires massive amounts of nutrition to heal. A 22 pound weight loss in 28 days is unacceptable, negligent, careless and cruel, not attributes we like to see in OUR Md's. Nice job,doc... guess who died today, my father whose immune system was destroyed during his hospital stay. And a word to his PA- wake-up !You're a lackey, a chore boy. Do you answer ' Yes MASER' after every command? You are a garbage pail collecting this guys toxin waste and rubble...what a sucker . Oh yes and this isn't revisionist history SLAVE LABOR WAS OUTLAWED A REALLY LONG TIME AGO. But I'm gonna guess you wipe his rear-end as well. Not for nothing you both can kiss my.......................Prime example of DUMB and DUMBER... and this is who we place our trust in to manage our health care system. Very frightening and reason for concern. No joke here , this is a seriously lethal flaw in our system and it to governed by those whose aggendas don't include actually helping or healing the sick. What's that you say about some HIPPOCRATIC OATH.?... typo.. HYPOCRITICAL OATH. I found this out first hand. Mothers , fathers and children RUN and HIDE, because if you're not that sick when you enter MERCILESS HOSPITAL YOU WILL BE.....if you get out at all. A wise man once said that doctors bury their mistakes and luckily for him he was smart enough to pass quickly and independently without an assist from the medical staff. That wise man was my beloved grandfather. |
