Comments for Dr. Ifeanyi Igwegbe
I personally worked for this physician for almost a year, and honesty this was, by far, the worst person I have ever met. As a doctor, he was never on time, he had numerous complaints made from the staff at the hospitals he worked out of, he didn't show for appointments made a other physician offices, and of course all these things fell back upon myself and the other employee that worked in his private office. There was one incident that I can recall every clearly where the hospital called his office looking for him because he had an early afternoon procedure that he ahd not shown up for. My co-worker and I called him every other second to see where he was because he also had a few patients in his office that had been waiting on him for quite some time. After about 2pm he came running through the door to meet his 12:30PM PATIENTS! But that's not the half of it....no, not at all, the early afternoon patient at the hospital showed up to see him because THE DOCTOR NEVER SHOWED UP TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HIM! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPENING BEFORE TO ANYONE, but obviously the hospital wasn't suprised...this was not his first offense and he was suspended until the appropriate authority (i'm guessing it's a board the doctor's in the hospital have to report to) investigated the situation and dealt with him accordingly. As a person, well, let's just say that I would expect better behavior OUT OF THE DEVIL! Whatever personal business that went wrong on his own time, would result in his anger being taken out on US! We were expected to be in his office morning, noon, and night if necessary to him, with no say so or excuse. In his words ' You get X-mas and Easter...any other day is left up to me, you don't work for the government you work for me and if I say you're going to work on Xmas and Easter then I expect you to be in my office on those days too!' People, this is not AT ALL an exacgeration or joke, this is how this man really is.Recently, I quit and moved on to bigger and better things, and as for my co-worker, well.....he brought he/she in (while the employee was out on sick leave from being admitted to the hospital) , had the employee train not one, but TWO new employees and then asked the person to leave their key because they were not needed anymore. Lucky for him, I was not anywhere to be found at the time because needless to say I would not have let quietly. You all, I am informing you of this doctor not to be rude, nasty or disrespectful, but because if you look at from a patient's point of view, I would NOT want to met this person, let alone allow him to be my gastro doc. and let him touch me, AND consider the field his practices (Gastroenterology), he sees alot of elderly people (he did not see children at all THANK GOD), would you want him to treat your mother, grandmother, aunt, uncle, father, granfather or any other relative of yours for that matter? This man is strictly in this for the money, and I feel that I need to spread the word notonly because I feel sorry for the emplyees***THE 'OTHER EMPLOYEE' IS REFERRED TO BY BOTH SEXES TO PROTECT AS MUCH OF THE PERSON'S IDENITY AS POSSIBLE***
