after being hit head on in a car accident and somehow walking away (but very hurt) he acted like I was going to be fine, now, 4 years later, I have to be careful of everything I do due to a horrible lower back and right neck/shoulder. Everytime I went back complaining about my pain i was blown off and offered drugs. Was sent to physio, the people were awful and did nothing for me. I told him this and he doesn't respond. I was great at running, tennis, golf, yoga, now I can hardley do a thing. I spent over 2,000 on chiro last year to maintain some kind of normal life, along with over 1000 for massage. He thinks they are a waste of money, yet he offers no solutions and thinks chiro and massage don't help. If they didn't work, would I spend the money out of my own pocket to keep going. I got next to nothing from icbc because no one ever really looked close at me, ie, x rays, mri, so I continue to degenerate. I belong to 3 yoga studios, I have taken courses on weight training, free weights etc. tons of stuff trying to get myself healed and healthy but with minimal success. I am broke and suffer most days now. He still seems to think he is right and I am wrong, yet he has never even seen me with my shirt off except once fo a physical that i had to ask for. I have good months where I think I am over it. but then the pain comes back if I overdue it or my body isn't healthy. I am one of millions suffering after a major accident. these doctors know this is the outcome, yet they seldom let you know that you are in for a lifetime of trouble. He even wrote i would be fine to icbc so I wasn't properly compensated for my injuries. Don't let your doctor fluff you off. It makes it easy on them if they get you to doubt your own concerns about your body and they all do it just so they don't have to spend any time on you and then they can bill the next guy as you leave dissatisfied

he doesnt really care- and his staff takes their cue from him--it sucks becauase he knows you are very limited in your options for a GP--a terrible situation-- he works 1/2 days - solicits endlessly for new patients - and i have never waited less than 2 hours when im there- up to 4hrs! you complain AT ALL and he threatens you by saying that if it happens again - you're going to have to find a new doctor-- i think hes nailing his secretary or something -- why else this terrible "bedside manner" -?
