This is the Worst Dentist in the World! 1st he fought me on me wanting to take out my metal fillings which bother me! He things he's smarter than the metals that are filling me with major issues. Since I went to him I found out that I have high mercury levels in my body. 2nd after asking him to take them out and him saying he would I went for 2 appts and after my 2nd appt I noticed they were NOT taken out and It ticked me off but I didn't go back. He also gave me 10 if not more shots to get me numb. This is not a joke!!!!! It was shot after shot after shot and waiting and waiting and waiting. Since I been there I have given him a horrible name and also wrote to my Insurance company. Anyhow where i live is not the biggest town and I did garage repairs and I talked to customers who have been to him and some who happened to work for him and I also talked to other dentists. They all said he was in HUGE finacial problems and that his workers never know when their paychecks will bounce. Recently I sold my jeep and we got into a conversation about dentists and I mentioned Dr. Hood. He said that's funny what I was saying because he use to be 2nd down from him in his office. The guy who bought me jeep told me that He is the highest Billing dentist in america to insurance companies. Anyhow I would like to see him go under before he hurts others. I still need my metal out of my mouth but I am broke and can't afford it and when I went to him I was able to afford it because I had a high paying job then. Now I am in between careers and working for lower wages and paying my own medical. Dr. Hood if you read this shut down your practice. Other dentists are embarassed by you. Besides your high turn over rate in employees they were the only thing in your office that was so so

I like Dr. Hood very much. He did a great job for me and I found his prices to be competative. Not only is he a good dintist he is actually a really good person all around. I don't know what happened with the person who posted on 11-9-08 but what they said about Dr. Hood and his office was totally opposite of any of my experiences with him. I can't imagine those comments because he is a well liked person within the community and does numerous thisngs to help children besides being a fine dentist. The only thing I don't like is he has big hands and I gag easy.
