Dr. John Marascalco has the worst "bed side" manner I have ever experienced with a doctor. He enters the examining room with six other people, on his staff, and starts examining the patient without introducing himself and the others. After he completes his exam, that may only last a couple of minutes, he tells his Nurse Practitioner his diagnoisis and leaves the room...never having a conversation with his patient. His NP performed the surgical proceedures. A week later, his office staff called informing me I needed to come in to see the doctor...he wanted to discuss my lab results. I learned at the visit my lab results were normal. Instead of sharing the information with me over the phone or mailing the information to me, I spent the time from the phone call to the visit worrying that something was wrong. When I expressed my frustration, he showed very little concern. When a person schedules an appointment with Dr. Marascalco, he / she will actually be seen and treated by his NP. |
