This dentist wanted to stop halfway through pulling out a wisdom tooth and refer me to an oral surgeon (because the pain was so severe). He then used nitrous, which according to him only made it worse. He also chipped a tooth. The pain progressively worsened throughout the week. I had a follow up appointment to remove the stitches and told him what was happening and that he had chipped a tooth. His response: 'chipping a tooth is part of the risk of removing a tooth' and 'the pain shouldn't be as bad as you say it is.' Just a little side note, he had appointments scheduled on Memorial Day not realizing it was Memorial Day. The Friday before Memorial Day weekend I received a call that my appoinment was rescheduled for the next day (Saturday). |
