I went to Dr. Burgarino on three separate occassions. He was always late for my appointment, about a 1/2 hr. He also never had my medical records from my prior visits with him, so I had to repeat everything I said from the last time I visited him. He blamed the office in which he worked for not having the records. Because he was always late, my appointments were rushed to make up for his lost time!!! And, I spent most of my appointment discussing what would have been in my medical records from the last appointment. My appointment lasted only 5-10 mn. It was very discouraging. When I was having problems with my meds I could never reach him. He never returned any of my messages that I left with his receptionist and He got an attitude when I paged him a couple of times for things that really needed his attention!!! First time office visits to a psychiatrist should take at least 45-60 mn., his took about 5 mn. I don't know how you can properly diagnose anything in that amount of time!!! |
