Price Gouger!! Takes advantage of people's emotions and tries to get away with excessive pricing. Felt like I was dealing with car salesmen throught the whole process. Careful for their 'bait-and-switch'. Was given a 'ball park' price range over the phone that was acceptable to lure me in and told the non-refundable $100 consultation fee would apply to any procedure. Actual quote was 4 times the price, SO YOU END UP LOOSING regardless. I immediately called up several other surgeons in the area and found several who performed the same procedure for 1/4 to 1/3 the price. I ultimately picked one who charged me $300 to excise a scar -vs- Dr. Hunsiker's $1250 price. Who does she think she is anyway? In no other industry would such price gouging be tolerated. |
