The Doctor is thorough in his examinations, yet the wait times to see him are extremely long. It is not uncommon to spend two hours there for a routine appointment. You are very lucky if you can get in and out in an hour. Not easy to keep infants and toddlers amused for hours sitting in a small examination room. So while we think the Doctor is generally very good, we cannot recommend him due to the long waiting times. Another thing about Dr. Pedroso is his manner in dealing with patients. He can be very condescending, and while my wife is very well read in baby care, she often leaves his office feeling that she is a horrible mother. I have noticed this as well, and it's quite annoying to see a Doctor with this type of attitude. We grin and bear it as hopefully since out daughter is now 2 the frequency of her visits will hopefully decrease. Summary, Doctor is good and very thorough, but only use him if you are patient with wait times and can handle some big time attitude from the Doctor. |
