Comments for Dr. Michael Alexander
I have seen Dr. Alexander several times. The first time was for diagnosis of a sleep disorder. He took all appropriate steps and is very friendly. He also gave good advice. The second time was for medical research for a new arthritis drug. The entire experiment was entirely positive and I really liked the person doing most of the supervision of the experiment (an employee of Dr. Alexander). And I was immensely helped by the drug -- to the point that when it was approved by the government I immediately asked my family doctor to switch from the medication I had been taking before the experiment. The third time was also for medical research, this time for a drug for constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome. Once again, the experience was very positive. This time I had more contact with Dr. Alexander than in the previous experiment. I really liked both the doctor and the woman running this experiment. And once again the medication being studied was a huge help with my problem. Contrary to beliefs perpetrated by the movies, these experiments are not done on unwilling or uneducated subjects, but are done on volunteers who willingly sign up (in fact, I had to contact them to ask to be in the studies -- they didn't contact me first) and the experience is very friendly and positive. I give Dr. Alexander and his office a hearty A+++ |
