Dr. Foster was on the transplant team that saved my life after an acetominaphen overdose. He personally saw to every aspect of my care while I was in the hospital. If it weren't for him, I would be dead. Neurologists were brought in to detect my brain function. My family was told that I was brain dead and would never recover, to not bother with the transplant. Dr. Foster did not relent, stuck by his diagnosis as my coma being one of a metabolic nature, and fortunately I received a liver several hours before they were to 'pull the plug'. I live in Dallas but still travel to San Antonio (4 hours by car) to stay under Dr. Foster's care. He is worth the effort. I thank God every day for bringing him into my life. 12 stars. |
