Comments for Dr. Steven Paletsky
My father saw this man's associate a few days before he called this office for help on a Saturday. The doctor he had seen, Dr. Tsai, couldn't confirm a problem, but said it could be a kidney stone. My father was having no pain at that time. The pain on that Saturday made my father very sick and he vomited (a number of times) for the first time in over 25 years. My father spoke to Paletsky and asked for a prescription for pain medication until he could get in to see a doctor at home in Indiana. Paletsky stated that he doesn't prescribe pain meds for kidney stones. My father asked Paletsky if he would call Dr. Tsai and then call him back, or have Dr. Tsai call him back, so he could make it through the weekend until he could see a urologist at home. Paletsky said he would, but he never did call my dad back. No one from that office ever called back. My dad went to a doctor in Indiana and two kidney stones were found. My parents have a home in Florida for winter, so there is no reason Paletsky should have left my dad hanging in severe pain. The entire bill to Dr. Tsai had been paid, too. There was no reason for this disrespect and neglect.
