I had been sick for years. I was in a car accident when I was 10 years old. I had always told every Doctor I had been to about the car accident injury (I have a dent on the top of my head to prove it. No one ever looked into it and my neurologist here in Houston never sent me to TIRR( The Institute for Research and Rehabilitation). When I first got a computer, I went online and decided to research brain injury. I found the Brain Injury ASS. of Texas. I was fortunate enough to go to their yearly convention. I met Dr. Kothari and went to see him at TIRR. I told him that I slept all the time and had no muscle tone. He put me on Provigil and I came back to life. He is the best Brain Injury specialist there is as far as I am concerned. He intelligent and caring. The man is a Saint. He saved my life. |
