My main complaint is while preping my tooth for a crown, he looked in my mouth, sighed and exclaimed, Goddammit, and proceeded to fiddle in my mouth without explanation. When I asked, (with my mouth wide open) he said oh, we forgot to put 'blah blah blah' around the tooth. I was mortified, because it had been over 2 hours in the chair and I was traumatized enough with out the curse words scaring me and using the Lords name in vain was not exactly what I needed either. Very shocked. He also kept exclaiming his virtues of being gentle, his work with 3M Corporation and meanwhile, I was feeling more pain than at my last crown at a different doctor. I was willing to suck this part up, until this morning which is where my second complaint of the billing comes in. When I inquired how much it cost to have the 3 crowns, (before the work was done) they were so vague. I later got a filling too, but I had no idea I needed one, he just proceeded to do it. Very vague...like they were not willing to compromise on which teeth to work on based on my ability to pay. They explained how much my insurance would cost, but not how much a crown cost. After 3 months, and nearly 2,000 paid to them, they tell me that the crowns were Empress crowns (I wasn't given a choice)...they tell me that they are $1200 (an exact amount). Why they couldn't say that in the beginning, I'm not sure. They haven't even sent me a bill. They told me this morning that they would need to set up a billing plan, I said, not until I have seen a bill and how you came up with the dollar amount. That is where it stands at this minute. I feel duped.
