2007 My mother-in-law  (who is 80) has doctored with Dr. Larry Belote for many many years and over those years, the doctor has become less and less interested in treating her, talking to her, listening to her, etc. His lack of concern and his overwhelming need to rush his patients through has caused my mother-in-law to be misdiagnosed. This misdiagnosis was totally due to the fact that Dr. Belote was not listening to her symptoms. He had decided in his mind, that her mind was not right and dismissed her as well as her symptoms. This negligence resulted in my mother-in-law's Lyme disease (which turned in to Meningitis) to go untreated for well over 2 years. Needless to say, her Lyme/Meningitis was and is at an extremely high level and required her to have to have 33 infusions which was an extreme treatment for a woman her age.

dcreamer  doesnt  know  what  she  is  talking  about. No one  has Lyme  disease  for  2 yrs  and  THEN  gets  meningitis. I have  been  in Dr Belotes  office  and  he  is  very  compassionate. He  took care  of  my family and  prays  with  his  patients  when asked. He is  one  of the  few  doctors  who takes  the  time  to follow  his  patients  in the  hospital when they  get  admitted  instead  of  turning  them over  to other doctors. Office waiting  room is  full of  people  waiting  to see  him because  he  is caring  and  knowledgible.
