Dr. Jacob Rajfer is an excellent surgeon with a very caring and upbeat bedside manner who really wants the best for his patients. He went the extra mile to be sure he did the right thing by my husband who had a special situation, and was the only doctor I have known to call not once, but twice, following his surgery at home to see how he was feeling and discuss results and next steps. He has been more than helpful in our path with infertility to try and help us. Unfortunately, like a lot of doctors offices I have encounted over the past several years, the downside was his main assistant. She often had a very cold and unfriendly attitude and it was difficult to get results through her regarding various situations. If you don't mind dealing with someone like her from time to time, then I highly recommend Dr. Rajfer. He is head of urology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.
