This is a spectacular doctor. I'm most impressed by the organization - scheduling should be modeled by other physicians. I'm generally very busy and I find that most doctors' offices overbook appointments and leave you waiting for up to 2 or more hours. This doctor and his group are phenomenal in scheduling their appointments. Without exception, I have NEVER been seen by the doctor (actual doctor in the room) in more than 10 minutes past my appointment time. If my appointment is at 10 a.m., he's in the room with me discussing my issue between 10:05 and 10:10 a.m. And rightfully so, if I'm late for my appointment even 5 minutes, they will reschedule me. I can appreciate the effort they go through to keep people appointment on time. If I call for an urgent and unscheduled visit, they always seem to fit me in that day or at least the next morning. But I expect to wait as this is not a regularly scheduled visit. However, I can still say that even on an urgent visit I've never waited more than 1/2 hour. This doctor's office has the most up-to-date technology - all of the nurses and doctors have a small laptop that has all of my medical history, prescriptions, surgeries, etc. and they're set up wireless so they can take it with them anytime. At the point the doctor is in the room with me, he can send a prescription to the pharmacy and there is no waiting when I arrive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I really like that they have a nurse-practitioner who seems to be very up-to-date on women's medical issues and even some alternative therapies. I highly recommend Dr. Blankenship and his group at Cornerstone.
