2007 Excellent Dr.. Office staff average, but will try to fit you in if you feel you're in a next to (but not) an emergency situation. Dr. Holland tells it like it is, doesn't pussy foot around a medical problem. If you're to stubborn to listen to the truth, and willing to follow instructions from your Doctor, I'd tell you, go somewhere else. If you're looking for good medical advise and care then Dr. Holland could be the one for you.  Only downfall, as is the case with most Doctors, she far too busy, but still seems to have enough time to give you the straight goods whether you like it or not.  My kind of Doctor.  I just HOPE, when she decides to retire that there'll be at least one, if not two Doctors to take over her practice!

I do agree with all the previous comments about the doctor herself.  She's great!

I would like to add a couple things though.

The waiting time was so bad that waiting an hour or more wasn't unusual.  I now make my apts. first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch so I won't have to wait.... too long, even though I still have to wait sometimes which I don't understand.  How can there be people in front of me when I'm the first apt.?

I guess they double/triple book their apts. but I'm not really sure why that is.  I also think they should tell you when you make your apt. that you may have to wait an hour or more.  My time is also very valuable.

I would also like the doctor to ask me about how my meds are working for me and how my pain is etc.  In otherwords, look at my history and follow up with me about my health.  Instead, if I didn't ask and keep track of things, I don't think I'd get the proper care.  For instance, I was on a medication for over a year and I casually asked whether I should remain on it and was told that it didn't do any good so I should go off it.  I also asked about another of my meds and whether I should still be on it or not and then was told I could cut it back to every 3 days or so.  Had I not inquired about these, I would still be taking them all daily.  I don't think this is right.  I'd like to think I'm a pretty smart and 'with it' lady but there are so many people who rely 100% on their doctor for this advice and they wouldn't think of asking whether they should still be on medicines or not.  I feel that the doctor should be following up with that sort of thing with their patients, and I don't understand why this doesn't happen.

Having said that... when I do ask and discuss my problems or meds etc., I do like the feedback I get but I wish I didn't have to ask everything!
