I was able to recieve an appointment with 1 week for a routine exam. After I completed the new patient paperwork, I was taken back within 10 minutes. Dr. Patel's tech was pleasant and professional. Dr. Patel came in after my eyes were dilated. She examined my eyes and then spent the majority of time discussing her findings with me. We also talked about some preventative measures and routine exam schedule based on my exam and family history. She gave me some great tips for caring for my eyes (dry eyes!). She also suggested some general measures for overall medical health. I found her knowledgeable and helpful. I particularly felt that she cared for me, not just my eyes! She had a great rapport with her returning patients. Other patients in the waiting room voiced confidence in her. I would certainly refer anyone to her.
