2005 Anne Wilson was my doctor in 2004 after I moved to Maryland from New York. I was not feeling well and she decided to put me on Blood Pressure Meds and Statins because my test results were not in the normal range.

I continued to have various health problems ranging from bilateral pain in my legs to bladder issues. Each time she blamed my symptoms on many reasons from sciatica to menopause. She told me that if I didn't trust her judgment, I ask another doctor. (I should have!!) She suggested that I see a mental health professional.

After going for lab work for the third time, I saw blood where it didn't belong. I called another doctor without waiting for the test results.

I never heard from Dr. Wilson again. Not with the blood work or lab results which had to be troubling. Not as to why she never saw me again. Even recently, when I informed her of my actual diagnosis, three years after I left, I received no apology.

I have Bladder Cancer. My new doctor discovered an apple size tumor among others in my bladder. I've been undergoing surgeries and treatments for the past three years.

If you are not HAPPY with your treatment at this office, go somewhere else. It's possible that you are not crazy, you might actually be sick.

I recently had a very bad experience with Dr. Wilson.  I tried for three days to get an emergency appointment suspecting it might be my appendix.  I was informed by the scheduler that there were no openings and to call back.  I was also informed that 'if the pain is so bad, go to the emergency room'.  I finally got an appointment on Thursday, March 13 and saw Dr. Wilson briefly who took my temperature and felt in the area of my appendix and told me to go to the emergency room.  I drove myself to the emergency room and after 12 hours in the emergency room, was admitted.  They suspected it was my appendix.  I had surgery the morning of March 14.  In fact, my appendix had ruptured and required major surgery and a 7 day stay at the hospital followed by two weeks recovery at home.

Besides the fact that I was unable to get in to see the doctor on an emergency basis, Dr. Wilson did no followup while I was in the hospital -- in fact, I have not heard from her since.  Not even a phone call.  My sister saw her yesterday and indicated my displeasure with her lack of follow-up when she berated her and indicated that she didn't have any time to check up on patients.  Needless to say, we are both now looking for a new doctor.

I will not be going back to Dr. Wilson and will be trying to find a doctor who cares about the well-being of her patients.  Perhaps Dr. Wilson should do as he suggested and get out of the practice and go into research.   My dog received better follow-up from our vet when she had recent surgery.  It is the least one would expect of a doctor who was a primary care provider.
