she was an amazing person. then she changed.  yes she does do good work on teeth. but bed side, oh my gosh! she had a lot of patients walk out because she would judge them for thier weight, if they had money, or any little reason that would pop in her head. pretty much if you have money then your ok because she will suck up to get the one thing that matters the most. $$$$.  she hates giving refunds and makes patients wait 30 days to get there money, even if no treatment is done. so if you go be sure your ready to spend the money. she never takes the blame for her mistakes. she ALWAYS blames her staff or the staff that have already walked out on her. one day at an appointment, she was yelling at staff in front of all her patients. as i left her front desk girl still had a smile. they knew how to hide it very well. her staff is what makes patients keep coming back. they are so kind, loving,and caring. they treat you with the upmost respect.  i wish all her staff the best because with out them she would really be out of business in this town. to all who go i wish you the best too!

Wow, two comments, no she is not more expensive, she can just do everything!  I had my work done by her, thank the dear Lord.  I work for an insurance company and I know that dentists usual and customary prices are about the same.  I do know for a fact that there are two male dentists in San Angelo that charge much more for their crowns as her prices have not changed in about 3 years.  I was shocked the other day by a customer who told me that one of the doctors in San Angelo was already charging $1057 for a crown, she charges $875, now how can she be thinking about money all the time.  Also, this other doctor will tell you this, 'well it is what it is, take it or leave it.'  I know for a fact that Dr. B has given away more dentistry than most dentist can produce in one year.  She gives away dentistry to the Texas Smiles for crippled, poor, battered women, etc.  She does not charge you everytime you step into the door like most dentists do, she backs up what she says, you don't have to go to other dentists to have teeth taken out, or root canals done, or periodontal cleanings done.  Her office and her skills take care of just about anything you need.  I know.  I have been in her office for 7 years.  She fixed all my teeth at one time, that is another thing she does, you don't have to make 20 trips to have you teeth taken care of.  She is brilliant, talented, and caring.  The amount you pay is the amount of damage you have done yourself to your own teeth.  In my case I only needed wisdom teeth extracted, 3 crowns and a cleaning.  Dr. B is a perfectionist, so was my father, difficult to live with, but you could definitely depend on him, always.  Always there for you.  No, she is not a layed back person, and fat is a problem in this city and in this country.  I am sure if she were a man and on National T.V. everyone would sit up and pay attention.  No she is not from here, good.  You made a comment about her staff as though you know them.  She has had her lab personnel for 10 years, her hygienist 9 years, sterilization 6 years, assistants 7 years, no, they don't walk out on her, they leave for reasons just like everyone in America does.  Life changes, constantly all dentists, doctors, Enron, Chevron, American Air, Walmart, Dollar Tree have personnel that leave.  I am sure you left someone in your own lifetime.  I am glad people leave.  She left Shell Oil Research to go to Dental
School at 38 years old, isn't that the coolest thing you ever heard?  38 years old?  You don't know her, but maybe you should.  I love her, she is an inspiration to anyone that is fat, anyone out of shape, anyone uneducated because she has overcome hurdles unbelievable especially the hurdles this town puts on her.  May God Bless Dr. B., all her children she raises, her office and may she never leave this town I live in.

Your experience might have been great, but mine wasn't I needed a few crowns and root canals done and yes they were done, but about  4 months later my teeth started hurting, when I called to make an appointment they got me in and she said she was going to redo them, well we tried about two times, but she wouldnt send me to a specialist, because she is or was supposed to be spacilized in everything. After we tried the last time she sent me to a doctor in Abilene, when we have one here in Angelo, well I went to the Doctor here instead of the one that she sent me to, my battle was trying to get a refund or for her to pay the other Doctor who was trying to do my work , which I had already paid for. Now the crowns I have are all patched up and she wasnt willing to redo them because she didn't do the root canals, So she can't say that she does all her work. my mouth hurt so bad after she did the root canals and she always said that it would take about two or three months, I went to the other doctor about 6 months later, that sais a lot!

I just hope that no one else has to go through what I did, I guess I should of listened to my co-workers, but who would of thought that three secretaries for a small company would of been more right than a DOCTOR!!!!
