BEWARE...cost for sinus infection visit $1300.00! In December of 2007, I went to the Emergency Choice facility in Plano (Park and Preston area) for a sinus infection - possible strep throat problem. I was told I had a sinus infection, given an antibiotic injection and a prescription and sent home. I am uninsured. I was billed $1300.00 for this visit which is outrageous. The bill has been reduced to $740.00 due to complaining- still outrageous! I warn people to not use this facility. Cost for Primacare visit of same nature is $135.00. I thought this facility was similar to Primacare.
