Not given I started out seeing Dr. Esposito's partner, Dr. Sagoskin, in the Frederick Satellite office of Shady Grove. Every time I would go to my monitoring appointments, Dr. Esposito would always be there on a daily basis while Dr. Sagoskin was only there once a week. After a consultation with Dr. Sagoskin where I had to wait almost 35 minutes - and after Dr. Sagoskin wasted  one of my cycles because he did not want to deal with a cyst, I finally asked to be switched to Dr. Esposito. She seems to be much more personable with her patients compared to Dr. Sagoskin and does not talk down her patients or her staff as Dr. Sagoskin has done prior. In comparison to the two doctors, I am very happy to have Dr. Esposito as my main doctor. No more long waits, and no more feeling like I am more of a hindrance than a patient when speaking with my doctor.

Dr. Esposito is a fantastic Doctor. My husband and I started seeing her after loss number three. We started our consults with her and went on vacation- got pregnant naturally and lost it. She not only was there for support she sent the fetus for test, which also helped us in the preperations for our cycle. We had abnormalities and with out these test we would've never known. We did IVF along with PGD, and high risk complications. She did all my surgery's and was there for all appointments. My pregnancy was tough and she was there through the whole thing. When we graduated from SGF she still kept up with the OBG to see how we were doing. We now have a beautiful 20 month old and it is due to her caring spirit as well as her staffs.

2005 - 2006 Wonderful experience with Dr. Esposito. Will definitely come back again. Treated with lots of dignity and respect dealing with our situation. Was diagnosed with cancer and was able to preserve many eggs prior to my treatment. Waiting until I have clearance from my other MDs to get clearance in order to start prepping my body for the eggs. Everything was such a whirlwind after finding my diagnosis and Dr. Esposito and her nurse were able to take the burden of never being able to have children off my mind...Would definitely recommend - wish she did regular GYN work!

2006-2007 Fantastic overall experience. Dr. Esposito and her staff are wonderful. I had seen a reproductive endocrynologist in another state who basically said 'you can only get pregnant with IVF'. We weren't comfortable doing IVF, but preferred to do IUI. Dr. Esposito LISTENED to what I wanted and gave me information on all my options. Her nursing and administrative staff are wonderful and you feel like they care about you as a friend, not just a patient.

Hmmm, it seems that people who end up getting what they want, a child have nothing but raves for the doctor in question, only because they have a child.  How unfortunate to be able to read a review from a person who is so biased and not factual.  Meaning, I too had an experience with Dr. Esposito at the Shady Grove fertility clinic and my experience was awful.  Not only me but I witnessed very unhappy patients in the waiting room as well, I even over heard one patient complain to the receptionist about wrong instructions given to her and the receptionist had the patient wait an hour before Dr. Esposito called the office to give her updated information.  I did more on my office visits than just stick my nose in a book or magazine and not pay attentions to how the other patients around me felt and what they were saying to their spouses or to people on their cell phones.  I switched to another agency and the treatment I have received has been caring and professional. For the comment by the first person that explained her dealings with Dr. Esposito, I feel for her.  I believe it and I too would never recommend a doctor who does  not treat all paitents irregardless of age and potentional outcome the same, AS A HUMAN BEING!!!  Just because you got pregnant, and had a good experience, does not mean that she is a good doctor to ALL of her patients.  Just something to think about for anyone and everyone who is looking for a professional and compassionate and caring fertility specialst.

As someone else had said, the whole situation of infertility is a touchy situation for everyone involved. I am sorry that you feel the need to touch on everyone who has had a good situations with Dr. Esposito as many have had wonderful experiences with her and with Shady Grove Fertility. I have dealt with my own infertility for over 6 years! I have not had the fortune of my own pregnancy as of yet, and I have done the treatments for a few years now - it just really saddens me that someone will take one situation and stereotype that to the entire daily runnings of a practice. Sometimes its hard to hear what the EXPERTS as Dr. Esposito is, have to say when it comes to our own bodies. Believe you me, sometimes its hard to listen and accept some of the reasons for not being able to do what should come naturally on our own - but we don't have any control over that. Infertility isn't cured by a measly pill, and by going to an R.E. its not any guarentee to have a baby. I am sorry you felt that Dr. Esposito didn't treat you accordingly, I've gone to her for years now and after many failed cycles, a few miscarriages, and millions of tears, despite taking a break at the moment - I know that when we are ready to get back into the program, she will be the one my DH and I will be meeting with. Best of luck.

I do not think the person who spoke of HER experience is doing anything but speaking of her experience, and it sounds like she had a bad one. So lay off, quite simply lay off as you do not know her whole story, and if you read the first story on this rating you would know that she had a bad experience and she is letting people know of HER experience so others can be warned. And another statment by someone else stated they witnessed the near same experience and heard other patient complain. That says a lot. So try not to come down on someone who talks about the pain she went through when SHE was treated like cattle and her OWN DOCTOR, DR.ESPOSITO could not even remember she HERSELF had performed the surgery which ended up with the removal of the right tube for this woman. I would be pissed if my doctor had forgotten she even performed a surgery and removed a tube. that is not a doctor who treats her patients like patients, sounds like you two maybe just hit it off as FRIENDS>..

considering all the hormones and crazyness - its not surprising to think that way. We need to realize amid all the hormones that perhaps our emotions are a little over sensitive...after one bout of treatment, I came home and cried because the mail was late. I had to see several MDs at Shady Grove and quite frankly she was one of the better more comforting ones I had to deal with.
