Do not let him deliver your baby!!  He was the worst doctor, and i use that term loosely.  My wife had him deliver our baby and once the baby was born she required stitches,  You would think this is a minor procedure for a 'doctor' who has been doing this for years.  Unfortunately, for this incompetent fool it was a very difficult task that he did incorrect.  Approximately 2 hours later my wife was still bleeding and he had to undo the stitches he had just sewn in.  At this point he realized he missed a section of the area in which was torn and a blood clot had formed.  He now had to drain the blood clot and re-sew a very tender and already sore area.  Did i mention that all this was done without a local anesthetic or any type of frezzing.  My wife was in severe pain.  A couple days past and my wife was discharged from the hospital.  As a result of his inept practice she was still in imense pain.  We scheduled an appointment at his office so that he could look at her and hopefully prescribe a medication that would help her and not affect the baby.  Instead he turned us away stating that he had other patients  who were there first.  The patients even offered us their appointment time as they could see she was in tears and in obvious pain.  He still refused and suggested we go to the hospital as there is nothing he could do for her.  As a result we went to the hospital where we waited 3.5 hours for a doctor to issue a prescription that Dr Arnie Newton could have done in 5 minutes and saved my wife a lot of unessesary pain and suffering.  To date he has not called to inquire about how she is doing or feeling.  I would strongly urge people to use a different obstetrician.
