This eye doctor told me corneal molding (contacts worn while sleeping) was the right thing for me.He was quite the salesman! I was told it was just over a thousand dollars, but expenses were added on a somewhat regular basis for various items and treatments.  Waiting time was horrendous (as much as 2 hours!) and the staff never seemed knowledgable. Two of my visits yielded the doctor working alone... no staff had bothered to show up for work.   My vision was never great with this plan.  By evening I was afraid to drive due to declining vision throughout the day.  Finally after going in for my 2007 yearly exam and told it was going to be over 300 dollars more (beyond what insurance would pay), I decided I had enough and it was time to 'cut my losses'. I went to another eye doctor for regular contacts and glasses.

A greed for money seems to be what this doctor was all about!
