I came to Doctor Ladowski after being off of birth control pills for 8 months while trying to conceive.  I began having unusual spotting, that lasted 10 days before my monthly period.  This lasted for a few months so being worried, I wanted to make sure that everything was okay before continuing trying to conceive.  I made an appointment with the office, it took two months to be seen by the doctor.  My first appointment I waited in the office two hours before being seen by the doctor.  She spoke to my husband and I and seemed to be more concerned that we hadn't conceived yet after 8 months then my spotting. So she wanted to do an ultrasound, so she gave me the script to have it done at the hospital.   I had the ultrasound done, and came back into Dr Ladowski's for the results.  (Had to pay a full        co-pay even though she only talked to me for less then 5 minutes).  She told me that I had an abnormal uterus and that we would need to do a Hysteroscopy, that we could also do my pap-smear at the same time.  I went to the front desk and they had said that the equipment for the hysteroscopy is down to call back next week to make the appointment (mind you this test had to be done at certain time of my cycle to be accurate). I ended up calling 6 times before they got me into my appointment.   When I showed up for my appointment the day of the Hysteroscope I waited an hour and a half before they took me back.  When I finally went back they said that Dr Ladowski is not in another doctor would see me. The doctor came in and said that they could not do the hysteroscopy because of the time of the cycle I was in I could be pregnant.   I had only been on cycle day 4 which means that I have not ovulated yet and could not possibly  be pregnant... I argued my point, and then the doctor agreed to do the hysteroscopy.  She said that my uterus looked normal and I did not have a septum. To call to make an appointment with Dr Ladowski for the papsmear since she couldn't do one at the same time.  So I called to make an appointment with Dr Ladowski, the receptionist said that the doctor will be on leave for three months.  I decided to go ahead and make an appointment with Dr Trolice a RE since Dr Ladowski had previously asked if I wanted to go to him since he was a specialist.  Dr Trolice has been fabulous!!! He also did a HSG, and said that I have a perfect uterus without any deformity. So I was mis-diagnosed, and had to pay quite a bit out of pocket for tests that I did not need.
