This is one of the rudest, arrogant doctors I have ever met in my life. I was referred to him by my neurosurgeon after cervical spinal fusion surgery for pain and headaches due to degenerative disc disease that I have in my spine. After having to wait almost 3 hours for him, he spent less than five minutes in my presence. I didn't even get to lay eyes upon him until his assistant came and collected my co-pay up front. He came in completely unprepared, obviously had not read my referral notes or any pre-appointment patient information my doctor had sent because his first question was, 'What happened to you??' He disregarded my neurosurgeon's recommended treatment and even questioned our decision for my surgery - 'You were in pain before surgery and you're still in pain - why have surgery??' Last time I checked with my neurosurgeon he said it could take up to one year for my bone graft to heal and for me to recover for surgery and this doctor has the nerve to question my decisions only 3 months after having had surgery? Pain specialist are not neurosurgeons and this man doesn't deserve to have a medical license. If you are referred to him, don't waste your time. Ask for someone who will treat you with respect and at least gather patient information before trying to hand you prescriptions and push you out the door. I left with 3 prescriptions I never filled - he never even bothered to ask me what meds I was currently taking - and I later investigated and found out that there would have been bad side-effects if I had started taking the meds he tried to prescribe. I feel sorry for the poor, uneducated people I saw in the office that day that probably do not have the means or the knowledge of their medical problems to know that this man is a QUACK! This doctor is unprofessional, arrogant and doesn't collect pertinent medical information on his patients up front. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He has poor bedside manner and an equally poor attitude towards patients! He is obviously just in it for the money, so don't waste yours waiting to see this so-called doctor.

Hi,
I would just like to let anyone who's checking up on Dr. Kabakibou know that there are other doctors who will treat you with respect, unlike this man. I ended up going back to my Neurosurgeon, whom I have much respect for, and requesting to be referred to a different doctor after my one and only visit to Dr. K. I also told him what a terrible experience I had with Dr. K. Now he no longer refers people to Dr. K. I ended up going to Gainesville, GA to the Lanier Pain Clinic and seeing Dr. John Givogre. Dr. Givogre is a wonderful, caring and knowledgable doctor that I would recommend to anyone who is seeking help for their pain. I have visited him several times and in my communications with his other patients, he is indeed regarded as a good doctor. He even has a wonderful personality and his staff is superb. If you're thinking about going to Dr. K..... JUST DON'T!!!!!!!!
