This dentist does very good work. He is excellent at what he does. If this is all that matters to you, visit this dentist.  His equipment is current, and his fillings and crowns are virtually invisible. His work is superior to most dentists I have seen.

His office staff leaves much to be desired.  There were errors made with the submission to my benefits that ended up costing me time & money trying to sort them out.  I ultimately paid a bill just to clear it off the books. I could probably have been reimbursed by my husband's insurance company, but this would have taken hours on the phone I did not care to waste.

Recently, I tried to cancel an appointment for a cleaning which I had booked months in advance, as I could not get a sitter for my child.  I did this with over 48 hours notice, and the receptionist gave me a hard time, saying 'next time you'll need to give me at least 48 hours notice'. She seemed quite put out by my request to change my appointment, even though I told her it was just a cleaning, and I would be willing to wait.  Since my appointment was to be on Monday evening, they open Saturdays, and I was cancelling early Friday at noon, this by my account was in excess of 48 hours (2 business days).

There are many fine dentists in Kitchener Waterloo, so I decided at that point to cancel my appointment all together & my husbands as well.  Dentistry in this province is a business, and therefore dentists should be treating their customers as do other service providers.  They are not doing you any favours by taking your business.  You are paying for them to perform a service, and to treat you with the courtesy any good business would.
