I decided to go to Dr. Averill's office after having an unpleasant experience with a larger practice in Winchester. The nurses and office staff are extremely friendly and all seem to enjoy working together. I noticed them joking around together and even going out to lunch together. They are very much on top of things and appear to keep thorough records. The office, while small, is very bright and cheery. Dr. Averill herself has a very relaxed personality and makes you feel like a person rather than just a patient who is providing her with income. The only negative thing I could say would be that because there is only Dr. Averill and another nurse practictioner (also excellent and motherly) in the practice, the appointments sometimes become backed up, making for a lengthy wait on a few occasions. However, overall, I would recommend Dr. Averill to anyone.
