DON'T EVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!. In August 2007, I took my 16 year old to Dr. Cocoziello for her very first gynecology exam. My daughter preferred a female Dr. So out of the Dr's. in my network, I narrowed it down to this one. I researched her background and was satisfied with what I found. Not to mention her office is in close proximity to where I live. But from the time we sat down with her, I didn't feel comfortable, and actually started to walk out. She's impatient, unprofessional, too fast, delivering babies in between appointments and very rude. Before we could get to the door we were called back. Her attitude had changed, she apologized and we proceeded with the examination. After a couple of weeks we received a letter that my daughter's pap cam back abnormal; which made a lot of reference to cervical cancer. Of course this is enough to freak any parent out. So I followed up with Dr. Cocoziello with a phone call. When she got on the phone, I asked her to explain exactly what was wrong with my daughter. She replied blatently 'YOUR DAUGHTER HAS 2 STDS-Clamydia and HPV-AND YOU NEED TO GET HER TREATED RIGHT AWAY'. I began to cry and question if she was sure. She replied 'I'M POSITIVE...THE RESULTS DON'T LIE. I NEVER EXPECTED SUCH A YOUNG GIRL TO HAVE ALL THESE DISEASES'. In those exact words...I was devestated. So we scheduled her for another appointment at a different Dr. Contacted the parents of the young man of which my daughter admitted to having unprotected sex with, and advised them to get him checked. Only to find out that is was a 'MISDIAGNOSIS'. When the new Dr. saw the lab results faxed from Dr. Cocoziello's office, we were advised that our daughter tested negative for Clamydia and the results of the HPV was actually graded as normal. I called Dr. Cocoziello right away and questioned her initial diagnosis. She was very rude, irresponsible, and defensive. Denying she had ever said such a thing. She was argumentive and did not take accountability...or even apologize for all the emotional stress and embarrasment to us and our daughter. DON'T EVER GO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!...she is negligent and could careless about her patients. The only good thing that came out of all of this, is that we are aware of our childs sexual activity, and it was a wake up call for her. Otherwise this has been a very painful process...not to mention scary! If she could misdiagnose something like this...imagine if it was AIDS or CANCER.

I have to add to misdiagnosed comments because dr. cocoziello has got to be the worst dr. I have ever dealt with.We were warned not to go to her by someone but we were already in the process so we WITH ALL REGRET continued to see her..
My wife was more then 8 month pregnant as started to leak liquid from her vigania.We weren't sure what it was as it was our first pregnancy so we went down to see her.We told her about it and she said not to worry about it and that its NORMAL to leak while pregnant.She didn't even check what it was that was leaking!
So we went back home and came back after 2 weeks for an ultra sound.Results show that the baby is not growing!?We were confused just like her stupid ass as it turns out it was the babies water that was leaking!And she didn't admit to it until i confronted her about it after the whole ordeal.
So she rushes my wife to the hospital for an emergency delivery.She applies medicine for vaginal birth for about an hour and she then says i don't like your babies heart rate he might have BRAIN DAMAGE.Im like is she seriously trying to give us a heart attack or what? So she takes the medicine off and performs the worst possible c-section a doctor has every performed as not only she cut the baby's ear with her knife,but also my wife till today(after a year and a half) has major pain around the cut area.
Our baby came out 6.3 lbs unlike her 4.0 lb prediction.
And to make things worse, my wife had a papsmeer test after the delivery and she calls back after SIX MONTHS telling me that my wifes test was abormal and that i needed to go get her checked out right away by a doctor! I was like are you insane calling me back 6 months later ??She again tried to ignore my complaints saying she's to busy to argue.
People, none of this is made up this 100% true do not go to this doctor for your lifes sake!She's old,she's impatient,she's rude,and she sure don't have it anymore not that i think she ever did.
REVOKE HER LICENSE BEFORE SHE KILLS SOMEONE!
