I am being seen for many problems. I am being seen for severe depression/Bipolar/Anxiety/insomnia/Mania/Relationship issues/ADD/PTSD and I am quite sure there are more!!  I was put on Ritalin- than moved up tp Concerta ( form of ritalin) just dont have to take 2x day and helps being able to TRY to fall asleep raht er than ritilin 3 pills 2x day.  Serquel than prescribed after I told his I took that before and gained a significant amount of weight but was given it anyway. I was than taken off Serquel due to the weight gain I ALREADY old him about.  I also told him I was on Klonipin that was not helping at all- and yet he still prescribed it.  I was not given anyting for depression, (New) for anxiety,or bi-polar- him thinking and hoping the concerta would work from some of those issues ( I know I know- things take time- but I know my body.  I am someone who is also very concerned with weight since I cannot work out due to the 3 surgeries I had and my ROM for nack and back are way off- I have  50% loss.  Him knowing this put me on Depakote which is very well known to help with mulitple mental illnesses as well as migraines- within 4 days of taking it I have gained about 8lbs so far and have diarreah like water (sorry so blunt) and had asked for several days to be switched to Topomax so no weight gain would happen and a less likey chance of weight gain. The nurse looks at me like I am just another number not a patient- and the phychiatrist only talks to me one day a week in a group setting.  I told them I was moving Monday and Tues- and med grp falls on Monday- so I was told to wait and still  and to keep taking Klonipin and depakote till Wed.  Than my intake coordinator Connie told me she talked to doc himself and he insists still to wait till Wed.  Is this normal to be pawned off for 1 week from a program I attend MON TUES WED THURS FRI 9-1:30- and to top it all off- Connie ( in- take coordinator told me maby I need to check myself into a hospital and make an appointment with a GI doc.  I told her the diarreah did not happen till after I took medicine ( I repeat to her and docs several times- in on ear and out the other.  I left balling and not knowing what to do.  I got home called  Primary and hes not allowed to prescribe Topomax only the psychiatrist.  So am am left with no meds to help this ongoing problem. ANYONE- please help
