Not given Unacceptable office, beware dentist will do work without telling you what you need and what the cost is.  Office will tell you they participate in your insurance when they do not and then and only when your work is complete 6 months later, you will see a bill.  Excessively charges for work and work is very substandard, you will only need to have it repaired 6 months later.

Oh my god I absolutely agree.  I went to Dr. Ronald Linden and his staff told me everything I wanted to hear such as we participate with your insurance. I knew my insurance covered 100% of preventive work, cleanings etc... and that is what I had done a poor cleaning. Dr. Linden doesn't even scrape your teeth, he just runs water over them and calls it an ultrasonic cleaning and your done in like 5 minutes. You know there is a problem with the office when the dentist is doing the cleaning himself! Anyways, after the poor cleaning I received he did not even polish my teeth he told me it was not necessary with his ultrasonic cleaning.  I ended up going to another dentist and found out that the ultrasonic cleaning should also be followed by a good old fashioned scraping along with the polish but not only that the ultrasonic cleaning I received from my new dentist's office was an actual ultrasonic cleaning, you could feel that something was actually being done not like the one Dr. Linden did.  His office equipment looks like it is from the 70s with a few newer gadgets, it looks like he is spending most of his money on hair restoration then on equipment.  Dr. Ronald Linden after my cleaning then started to get ready to do something else which I had no clue what he was doing so I asked and he was getting ready to braces on my teeth!!! I am 41 years old and do not need braces!!!! I would have also liked to have been told that this was something they were planning on doing, thank god I asked or I would have ended up with braces and a bill for god nows how much he would have charged.  The bottom line is stay away, Dr. Linden is not up front about the costs, the insurance he accepts, or the work he is doing.  I ended up at my new dentist who nearly fell off his chair when I talked to him about braces, I just didn't need them.
