Although I find Dr Ross to be a very thorough and caring physician, his staff either overbooks him, or he is involved in alternative work that takes him from his office, and rebooking has become too frequent, or delays in the appointment causing patients to wait often for over an hour.

I am not impressed that patients who cannot give 24 hours notice of an appointment cancellation will be charged for missing, while, we the patients can be cancelled at a moments notice.  During inclement weather or should a crisis erupt, there often isn't 24 hours notice to give, and further, the nurses and receptionists should direct their remarks to the patient themselves, not the caller.  His nurses could use some courses in consideration, as I have often found them abrupt, rude and condecending.

I do not like booking an appointment for the sniffles or the odd ailment, but there is no way to get information from his staff as to whether to come in or wait out the problem. I think his practice would greatly improve with a close look at the personalities working for him - why do they overbook him, why do they book for appointments, when a quick conference would eliminate many of the visits, and why do they find it necessary to be rude.  If he wasn't such a good doctor I would look elsewhere, just because of some of the staff he has under him.
