Dr Coscia has a wealth of experience and is very meticulous about his work, a 360 lumbar fusion and a thoracic fusion I didn't need any blood transfusions, and the results have been fantastic. He doesn't watch the clock and cares about his patients. The surgical nurses at Methodist Hospital have a very high regard for him and told me that he runs his surgeries very professionally. He has been very open with me about procedures and the positives and negatives of each choice. He has also been willing to talk to me about procedures [ie. ADT] that he doesn't perform. I was sent to him because my case couldn't be solved by a very good neurosurgeon and he referred me to Dr Coscia because that neurosurgical group sends there hard to determine cases to him. I have been very happy to have him as my surgeon and find him very easy to talk to and approach when I have seen him outside the office.

He is friendly, polite, informative, and is willing to go the second mile for you. He will gladly explain anything you don't understand. I find he is up to date with his surgeries, and is a hard worker. He is willing to put as many hours in a day as necessory. He doesn't watch the clock and yet is thorough. hHs nurse is also friendly and will answer any and all questions.
