Dr. Hatcher is an excellent ob/gyn.  I think he's great!  He's very knowledgeable.  He's also very skillful.  While it has been very painful to have an internal examination from several of the ob/gyns I've seen before, I can barely even tell he's doing anything when he examines me.

I love his sense of humor, which is admittedly a little off-beat.  The only caution I would have is that if you have no sense of humor about these things, he might not be the doctor for you.  For example, when I went to him when I was pregnant with my first son he told me he had bad news.  Once my heart had jumped out my chest, he smirked and told me there was only one poor, lonely baby in there, and didn't we want to just have them all at once and get it out of the way.  While I'm sure some people would have been angry, I actually laughed and thought it was a great ice breaker.  So, if you can laugh at things like that, he's a WONDERFUL doctor.  If you don't have a sense of humor about these things, he's not the doctor for you.
