I am websurfing at alost 2:00am and came across this website and my doctor, Dr. Rosenblatt is on it. I have been seeing Dr. Rosenblatt as my family physician for nearly four years. I am of what these young kids refer to as the old school. I would have no problem if Nurses still dressed in the uniform of yesteryear and people running for President always dressed with a tie. Yes, things have changed. I never thought I would be using thr Internet but like I said, times have changed. Dr. Rosenblatt is NOT like the typical doctor. He doesn't tell you anything. Let me finish.... He talks to you and not at you. He explains; he doesn't lecture. He does his best to convince you that you can manage your daily health better without casting stones. Before seeing Dr. Rosenblatt, I had not gone to see a doctor in over a decade. The main reason was because I did not want anyone to tell me how to live my life or crucify me for poor health decisions. While Dr. Rosenblatt shoots straight from the hip and calls it like he sees it, he does it in language that me, your average run of the mill blue collar working man can understand and appreciate. He knows how to listen. Often I was wondering if he had fallen asleep when I was describing a pain but then he shot back and offered every reason why I was having such pain and a treatment plan to cure it. He knows his work. He remembers me and often does not even have to look at my chart. He knows how to listen and how to speak. I just wish he would learn how to write clearly so the folks at my pharmacy wouldn't have to call his office every time because his handwriting is aweful. I mentioned this to him. His responce was something like,they teach you to write poorly in medical school!! I told him to go back to the third grade and have them teach him how to write properly! He laughed and told me he would work on it. I like this guy and would recomend him highly. One last thing.... if your on hold for more then 2 minutes, hang up and call back.
