My very first impression of the doctor was very positive - he seemed to know hwat he was doing, and I felt comfortable having him as my dentist.  After several visits, I've noticed that he was overzealous about his practice, and I began to feel like I was being scammed.  He told me that he can make my face look smaller by fixing my biting problems, and even told me that I look like I have fangs - offering to shave off my cute pointy teeth. 

I've had one root canal in the past from a tooth that really bothered me.  At his office, he found 4 teeth that required root canals.  It is important to note here that he does his own root canals (which menas he is making profit out of doing root canals) and actually told me that looking for root canals is like a treasure hunt!!  He proceeded to give me three of the root canals (of which one tooth actually gave me problems) and decided to wait on the one tooth that really looked like it needed a root canal (my back tooth which was partially chipped).  I'm not sure what his reasoning for picking his order, but when I told him that I don't want my last root canal, he insisted, telling me that I may have severe pains from going on an airplane!!  He also told me I had TMJ, although I showed no symptoms - until he 'fixed' my bite.  I now find it harder to get a nice bite than I did before.

One more important thing - one of my tooth that got a root canal was hurting really bad after the operation.  He had to give me over 10 shots of novocain, which barely desensitized my 'nerveless' tooth.  When I asked the nurse about it, she told me that I didn't get a full root canal on this tooth.  That's BS.  I realize that now, and I really wish I was able to do something about him.

Please be warned when going to his office!!  And I strongly recommend you don't.
