I would like all the moms to read this and never go to this doctor!! I have two boys and we don't use fluoride. Last time we went there he made me feel like a realy BAD mom, because my kids now have cavities (4-6 each) and as he said they needed metal crown (younger at least two, maybe four, and older possibly two). He wanted me to agree to this and make an app. as soon as possible. He also said if I go to any other dentist for second opinion, that he will say the same thing. If I get to find someone who will fix my boys teeth without crowns, that, that dentist probably doesn't know what he's doing and will make a bigger problem, even to permanent teeth. It might all get infected and develop the realy big problem. My older son has heart condition and any infection is not good for his heart. Anyway, he went on scaring me and I had vary BAAAAD day, and I was feeling sick. I blamed myself for not cleaning my kids teeth, or not flossing enough etc. So I went to another pediatric doctor for a second opinion.  Took my x-rays, and prayed that he'll say, yes we can fix them without crowns. Actualy my second dentist said my older son didn't have any cavities!!! He also took more x-rays and pointed to clean space between teeth. Were Dr. Taheri said he needed the crown, this dentist said it might have very small, not even worth opening cavities (not 100% sure if cavities at all), 'Just floss well and come for a check up'. Sounded resonable, becuase my sons teeth's were white, no visible cavities. Little one had three small (not 6) and didn't need any metal crowns. We will fix them soon and keep brushing well and often and floss regulary.

Also, no fluoride! Check some web sites like fluoridation.com or just google search fluoride or fluorosis.   Anyway Dr. Taheri, I don't know what did he tried to do, make money on my kids?!  And he never made me feel good anyway. Office stuff is fine.  I also know that this dentist that gave me second opinion, dosn't have any reason to say, they don't have cavities if it's true!  Please mom think twice before you go to Dr. Taheri's office. Learn from my mistake!! Be smart mom!!
