Horrible dental surgeon, I went in for three wisdom teeth to pull out, I arrived and had to wait, then I hear the surgeon say to the office clerk that he is in a bad mood and then his regular chair was busy so he/we had to use another one and he was upset and I think the whole thing was a terrible experience and I will never return.  I did return for the post-op thinking that I will tell him about my holes causing problems when I eat and he said it would heal, well we are 2007-05-20 and I still have problems.  They never closed up.  I have to go for my bi annual cleaning with another dentist from that office and I will not return because of the bad experience I had with dr. Kalloyanis.  When you are in the chair about to have your wisdom tetth pulled you are nervous and need to calm down and he is not one to help with your stress, his assistant was very nice and comforting however she even made a face during my extraction... 

I definitely do not recommend this person.  Stay away...

Well all I have to say is I will not be going back to that dentist/oral surgeon.  I have never been scared of dentist until I came to Montreal.  When I told people I was getting my wisdom teeth extracted, people would answer, 'Really!!!' I did not understand why.  Now I know.  I had already gotten one of my bottom wisdom teeth extracted without any problems and it was impacted.  This time around with Dr. Kaloyannis, I was getting the other three out and the bottom one was impacted as well. 

I had heard about this clinic via the news paper having multiple atrilcles promoting this clinic so I finally decided to go there.  Pre-operative was okay not very thourough but how hard is wisdom teeth extraction, right? Well wrong.  Day of my extraction, wiating for 45 minutes in the waiting room, listening to the receptionists bitch about patients.  Then Dr.Kaloyannis comes to the reception and the girls are joking and talking to him he says, ' I am not in a good mood today', something you don't want to hear the day that same doctor is talking your teeth out.  Meanwhile I am waiting in the waiting room,  finally his assisant comes to get me and as we are walking to the 'operative room' she asks me, 'what are we taking out today'.  Something else I don't want to be asked, they should know.  Doctor comes in asks me the same thing.  Now I am NOT happy.  I am really nervous now and starting to understand why people were apprhensive when I would tell them I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled. 

Anyways, equipment was not ready on time, doctor said he did not like the equipment he was using on me, needless to say I did not like them either after that.  Once he was done he said nothing just turned around took his gloves off and walked out of the room leaving me there with the assistant.  She was nice told me what to do when I got home,  gave me the presciptions and then I had to pay with the friendly receptionists.  Had problems there but won't get into it.

Was swollen for one week and had a bad facial bruise.  Could not sleep on one side of my face hurt too much.  Still have pain in my jaw.  WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU.
