I have been a patient of Dr. Zibute Zaparackas for over 20 years. She has been treating my eyes since I was a child and has provided me with intensely professional and personal care as long as I can remember. Dr. Z (as she often called by friends and peers) has over 35 years of experience in ophthalmology and is well regarded by the healthcare community as being at the very top of her field. Her outstanding reputation has established her as one of the premier eye-care specialists in the nation.
Yet with all of her accolades and accomplishments, Dr. Z has remained a very human and approachable person. She treats her patients with individual care and respect and even remembers each one by their first name. Dr. Z will talk with you directly, not poking her nose over your chart like some doctors do. She tells you the facts up front, in layman’s terms so you’re not lost in the language of doctor-speak. She’s a no-nonsense person who is concerned your health and the health of your family. As a well-connected health professional, she has even provided me with references to doctors in other fields as well.
Dr. Z’s newly remodeled office is very clean and modern. Her staff are very cordial and friendly making every visit a comfortable experience. Although there may be a wait in the waiting room to see Dr. Z, you’ll spend more time in line the next time you go to the post office. A few moments of waiting time is a small price to pay for the health of your eyes.
There is no one else I would trust my eyes to more.
