I went to this doctor because of severe constipation and pain on my right side. I was given a colonoscopy and was NOT sedated, The experience was traumatic and violating! Following my procedure I was told that my bowel was irritated, inflamed, tortuous, and... normal? He also stated I have a redundant bowel. I was never told what this means. Apparently 'tortuous' is normal.
During my procedure, when I was screaming, kicking, crying, and being held down, the nursing staff made comments like, "You won't remember this anyway." I remember all of it.
Following some argument, I was slapped with the diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, a condition leading to diarrhea. Something I DO NOT have.
I would suggest anyone thinking of going to this office think twice. I don't feel I've gotten anything accomplished by seeing these 'professionals.' In fact, I feel as though I've been thrown back years when it comes to trying to figure out what my medical problems are.
