This was my first and last time visiting this doctor.  First, I waited an hour for my scheduled appointment.  Then, when Dr. Geer asked me if I took any medications and I told her yes and which ones, this is where it got extrememly uncomfortable.  I take medication for my depression (Wellbutrin).  The dosage is controlled and supervised by my psychologist and I have never had any problems.  I have been taking the medicine for over a year and it has helped me dramatically.  Anyway, Dr. Geer proceeded to lecture me on the dangers of this medicine and how it was giving me brain damage.  Absolutely ludicrous and very unprofessional.  As a person in the medical field, she should know better.  I am sure she also deals with many new mothers who suffer from post-partum depression and I wonder what she tells them!  This doctor then told me that the medicine was making me hazy and groggy.  I have never heard anything like this before from anyone and I was extremely offended as you can imagine.  Her attitude is very unprofessional and she is NOT sympathetic to those who suffer from any sort of mental health issues.  I would avoid this doctor at all costs, due to her offensive nature and unprofessional attitude.
