Was left mutilated, deformed, and completely unrecognizeable when I went to Richard Ellenbogen for a simply rhinoplasty. While consulting with reconstructive surgeons around the country, I have met numerous others who have been mutilated by ?Ellenbogen. I saw one lady who he left with 3 open wounds when she went in for a closed rhinoplasty. Seven of the people I met had almost all of the internal anatomy of the tips of their noses removed -- Ellenbogen makes noses look extremely short, flat and crooked -- all you see is two holes -- nostrils. I was 36 years old when I had a forehead lift and eye lid surgery. Dr. Richard Ellenbogen mutilated me. I lost my hair on both sides of my head and across the top. (Skin was pulled to tight). I have not been able to close my eyes for 25 years now and have damage to my eyes due to dry eye syndrome. (He removed too much skin). I have never been able to recognize myself since the surgery and needless to say it has been a very painful adjustment through the years. I have dents in my head and when other plastic surgeons have run their hands across my head they freak out and can not figure out why I have the dents where they are. I could go on...he also told me that he was going to remove my ethnicity look...I believe someone else used this term in their write up on him. Oh and he also has me on one of his website pages' as a SUCCESS!! can you believe this guy! ugg...glad there was some place for me to vent...it has been everyday of my life for over 25 years... |

i went to him to add cartilage to the tip of my nose -- instead he removed all the cartiladge and soft tissue in my nose and the nasal spine, and he turned my long nose into a short, flat stump with complete nostril retraction. he made me unrecognizeable and hideous looking. if you google nora's ellenbogen or look up rhinoplasty4you.com -- you will see that he has harmed many people. his peers informed me that they think of him as the most drastic 'doc' there isi've met many who have been harmed by him in reconstructive surgeons offices. please check out photo below. http://www.revisionrhinoplasty.ca/page/page/3155165.htm |
